My mother needed to go on a rest cure after her stay at the hospital. She's now staying in a centre, a wooded place, nice and peaceful with only women. I called her this afternoon and everything is going fine. She slept like a baby last night and told me the food is really good. She has a whole week to get used to her new surroundings and get acquainted with everyone there. So a whole free week, with no activity for now. But she's going to do some shopping tomorrow. She said she had to buy coffee - her new addiction - and chocolate ;).
I will visit her next week, but i am not sure if i could stay for the night, just for convenience or staying at the hotel, since it takes a good 2 hours to get there.
Besides, Christmas will be a lot different from the last years. she's not allowed to leave the place for the Christmas holidays, so we're going with my brother. He's not very happy about that but well... A bit special, but it will be nice neverthless. :)
